Kanousei abseils 160ft Ventilation Tower for the charity Addaction!
2007 is Addaction's 40th anniversary, and to celebrate and raise funds for this charity, Max Watts, MD of Kanousei, took up the challenge of abseiling the 160 foot Ventilation Tower on the Liverpool Docks.
Bright and early, Max enjoyed a fantastic view over Liverpool and following some safety advice she put her trust in the ropes and climbed over the edge. Despite the occasional crash into the wall, Max picked it up quickly and was down in no time. 'Fantastic experience! Im so happy I could help raise funds for this important charity. I have to say though at the top there was only one thing I could think of...thank goodness for Swish Patterns!!!'
Addaction supports thousands of people each year affected by drug and alcohol misuse. Kate Williamson following the event said 'A big “Thank You” from all the team here at Youngaddaction Liverpool to all of you who took part on Saturday in raising money for the Project. We are looking at raising well over £3,500 which is way, way more than we ever expected!' Kate Williamson.
Kanousei are committed to supporting the community, if you have a project you would like supporting contact Max Watts on enquiries@kanousei.co.uk quoting 'Kanousei Community Projects'.
